From Sakurayama Park's first parking lot, you can pass through the Japanese garden and head to the observation deck. After that, you can take a course along the mountainside to the third plaza. This is a wheelchair accessible course where you can enjoy "forest relaxation" while taking in the deciduous trees and nature that are dyed red and yellow in autumn.

Universal Experience 01
Planting winter cherry trees
Sakurayama's cherry blossoms bloom in spring and winter. In order to protect this special landscape, tree planting is necessary. Participants will plant trees using a wheelchair-friendly "tree planting kit" for people with disabilities, and participate as "a member of the effort to protect Sakurayama."
Universal Experience 02
Onishi Mandarin Orange Picking
Aiming to be the northernmost in Japan, 4,500 trees are cultivated in the 2.5ha garden. I would like to go there before or after enjoying the winter cherry blossoms. It's nice to have all-you-can-eat food and get souvenirs.

Universal Experience 03
Making mandarin jam
This is an experience of making authentic marmalade using mandarin oranges. Sakurayama mandarin oranges have a moderate acidity and are suitable for processing. This activity also allows people with disabilities to learn the techniques and encourages their participation in society. It will be held at the Yashio Onsen facility.
